Mechanics Institute Book Collection talk by Dianne Clanchy

Have you ever wondered what the story is with the old book collection at the Port Fairy library?

Di Clanchy, being a local librarian at the time, selected the books that were kept in the Mechanics Institute collection in 1983.

Di will talk about the selection criteria used to keep all the books that we see in the collection today, most of them dating back to the 1800s.

Everyone is welcome to join us for this interesting show & tell on Friday 17 October, 2 pm -3 pm, at the Port Fairy Library.
